While our products are gluten free, we would still recommend those with a wheat intolerance avoid the Green Shot and Double Shot. Our Red Shot will be fine to take.
In terms of keto, it’s all about total carbs per day and prioritising those in the most nutrient-dense foods possible. Usually, most Keto keeps net carbs to around 40-50g per day. Many nutritionists recommend this diet, and the key is to save the “sugar” for the good stuff! We would recommend trying not to consume sweet hybridised fruit but wild or nutrient-dense berries. Most people have a horrible Keto diet eating animal products and nuts and forget a true Keto diet is actually mostly green plant-based (with lots of coconuts, olive, avocado and other plant fats), some root veggies (beet, carrot, Kumara), and berries. The keto diet should be low/moderate protein ideally as too much protein will drive gluconeogenesis (making sugar). The key is avoiding all processed food, grains and (not sprouted) legumes. That being said, a Shot a day still leaves 40-50g carbs to use on pumpkin, sweet potato or other starchy vegs. Plus, anthocyanins improve insulin sensitivity!
We don’t recommend take the Green Shot or Double Shot as the ingredients in these powders contain high levels of vitamin K, however our Red Shot should be safe to take.

Yes. Antioxidants help protect our cells by fighting free radicals which are the underlaying cause of ageing, therefore slowing the process of ageing. Leafy greens and berries are a great source of antioxidants. A daily Red Shot or Double Shot has the antioxidant power of six servings of fruits and vegetables.
We have many customers with Crohn’s who take the shots. They are gluten free, however if you are unsure consult your GP.
The shaker ball is used inside the shaker to help mix the powder properly in the water ensuring no clumps.

Yes our product is suitable for children at a lower dosage. Children or those under 50kgs should take HALF a serving of Red Shot, Green Shot or Double Shot, unless advised by a health care practitioner.
The Red Shot ingredients are ‘hygroscopic’, which means that it attracts moisture from the atmosphere which can cause clumping. It does not make the product ‘stale’ or detract from its effectiveness in any way. To ensure you avoid clumping, we recommend keeping your Red Shot in its pouch and properly sealed, or an air-tight container.
No. Our ingredients are 100% natural, which means that it is the whole plant gently dried and powdered. There are no artificial ingredients, sweeteners, preservative or additives in our superfood powders.

No they are not. Any sweetness in our powders is naturally derived from the plant itself. We do not add sugar or other sweeteners such as Stevia to our powders.

We believe that nutrients are more effective when consumed in their natural groupings and ratios. Our superfood powders are a combination of the whole fruits or plants that have been dried whole to remove the water and maintain as much as possible the normal ratios of all the other components. We have not removed fibre or other components, and ensure the drying and milling is gentle to help preserve the nutritional quality. Many products on the market are extracts. They take a particular nutrient that is linked to a health benefit and extract and concentrate it while removing the fibre and other nutrients from the food. Our wholefood plant powders are not extracts.
All our ingredients are grown in New Zealand. Our green pea, broccoli sprout, and organic wheat leaf (wheat grass), barley leaf, and spearmint leaf are grown in the low-lying Canterbury plains, where the soil is rich and naturally fertilised. Organic manuka leaf is harvested wild in Tamahere. Organic blackcurrants are grown in the fertile plains of Pleasant Point and spray-free boysenberries are grown in the sunshine of Nelson.

Adults: We recommend one or two shots per day (10-20g). Simply add 1 purple scoop to the included dry shaker, add 110ml water replace lid, and shake! Alternatively, the shots can be mixed with fruit juice, almond milk or any beverage of your choice. Children: Children or those under 50kg should take HALF a serving of Double Shot, unless advised by a health care practitioner. To begin, we recommend people take Double Shot Shot with food, ideally with breakfast. This is because sometimes the high levels of chlorophyll may begin to stimulate detoxification systems. Once you are familiar with the product (usually within a week), we recommend taking the Double Shot on an empty stomach. This allows for the assimilation of nutrients in the product without any competition from other foods concurrently in the gut. As the red ingredients increase energy, circulation and mental acuity, it is not ideally consumed before bed.

The shots are 100% natural and we've had impressive results with skin improvements, although not specifically dermatitis. One thing to note with skin related conditions when taking the shots is that you need to take them daily for about 1-2 months before really seeing an improvement. Unlike vitamin and mineral supplements our products are essentially concentrated food, so there should be no issues with nursing, however it's always a good idea to ask your doctor first. In our opinion due to the increased body requirements for nutrients during breastfeeding, nutrient dense foods are always a good idea. We would recommend starting slowly as anything in your diet has the potential to change the taste of your breast milk. Yes, it is! Pregnancy is a time where proper nutrition is absolutely essential. We now know that mum's nutritional status during pregnancy can impact baby's risk of chronic disease and obesity later in life, thus taking in extra nutrients in the form of shots would be highly beneficial especially if you are feeling “off” a lot of foods. The only consideration is taste, as usually your taste buds will become extra sensitive which means you may not be able to tolerate the strong taste of the Green Shot on its own. Please keep in mind that the shots are considered a functional food, not a dietary supplement, thus are safe for all ages and stages of life. We would recommend starting with the Red Shot, perhaps mixed into a berry smoothie or added to coconut yoghurt.
